Feed Your Spirit Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: July 2026
Thank you for choosing to join Feed Your Spirit. We're honored to welcome you into this experience. Please read the following terms carefully before completing your registration.
Registration & Payment
Your reservation is confirmed once your registration has been completed and payment has been successfully processed.
Guests are responsible for completing all payments by the agreed-upon due dates. Failure to complete payment may result in forfeiture of your reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Because Feed Your Spirit is an intimate retreat with limited capacity, every reservation directly impacts accommodations, meals, staffing, and the overall experience for the group. Our cancellation policy allows us to thoughtfully prepare while remaining as fair and flexible as possible.
Reservation Deposit
A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve your place. Your reservation is confirmed once your deposit or full payment has been received.
Final Payment
The remaining balance is due by August 10, 2026.
Cancellations Before August 10, 2026
If you cancel your reservation before August 10, 2026, any payments made beyond the non-refundable $500 deposit will be refunded to your original method of payment.
Cancellations On or After August 10, 2026
All retreat payments become non-refundable after August 10, 2026, as accommodations, meals, staffing, and retreat preparations have been finalized.
If we are able to fill your reserved space from the waitlist, we will gladly refund your retreat payment minus the $500 non-refundable deposit.
Payment Plans & Third-Party Financing
Guests who choose to pay using installment providers (such as Klarna, Affirm, or Afterpay, if available) remain subject to the terms and conditions of those providers. Any refunds approved under this cancellation policy will be processed back to the original payment method in accordance with the payment provider's policies.
If Feed Your Spirit Cancels
In the unlikely event that Feed Your Spirit must cancel the retreat, all retreat payments made directly to Dalai Mama will be refunded in full. Dalai Mama is not responsible for airfare, travel insurance, or other personal travel expenses incurred outside of the retreat registration.
Guests are responsible for arranging transportation to and from Akera Retreat Center unless otherwise stated.
We strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect their investment in the event of illness, family emergencies, travel delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance may also provide coverage for flights, accommodations, and other travel-related expenses, depending on the policy selected.

Health & Wellbeing
Feed Your Spirit is a wellness retreat intended to support rest, connection, education, and personal growth.
It is not medical treatment, psychotherapy, or crisis intervention.
Guests are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for their own physical and emotional wellbeing.
Dietary Accommodations
We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions communicated before the retreat. While every effort will be made to meet individual needs, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be captured throughout the retreat for future Dalai Mama marketing and promotional purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs or video, please notify the host prior to the start of the retreat. We will gladly respect your wishes.
Changes to the Itinerary
While every effort will be made to deliver the retreat as described, Dalai Mama reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the schedule, facilitators, workshops, or activities due to weather, safety considerations, or unforeseen circumstances.
Personal Responsibility
Participation in Feed Your Spirit is voluntary.
Guests accept responsibility for their own decisions, participation, personal belongings, and wellbeing throughout the retreat.
Community Agreement
Feed Your Spirit is a shared experience rooted in kindness, presence, curiosity, and mutual respect.
By joining this retreat, you agree to help cultivate an environment where every guest, regardless of gender, identity, background, beliefs, or life experience, feels welcomed, respected, and emotionally safe.
We ask that all participants:
Treat one another with kindness, respect, and consideration.
Honor personal boundaries and always seek consent before engaging in physical touch, taking photos of oth, or conversations of a deeply personal nature.
Respect differing perspectives and lived experiences without judgment.
Help create a space free from discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior of any kind.
Support the collective wellbeing of the group by showing up with honesty, compassion, and care.
Feed Your Spirit is founded on the belief that healing flourishes in environments where people feel seen, respected, and free to be themselves.
Should any behavior compromise the safety or wellbeing of another guest, Dalai Mama reserves the right to address the situation and, if necessary, ask a participant to leave the retreat without refund.
Thank You
Thank you for taking the time to read through these terms.
Our intention is to create an experience where every guest feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from the moment they register until the moment they return home.
These guidelines exist not to diminish the experience, but to help protect it, for you, for every participant, and for the integrity of the community we are creating together.
We look forward to welcoming you to Feed Your Spirit.
With gratitude,
Yaris Sanchez
